Numerology/Astrology for 9/20/17
9/20/17 is the number 3. It is your personal challenge today to find something positive to connect to. I look to the fact that the rains are starting, thus helping the fires out west. Also, the snow in Montana, again, helping the fires become snuffed out. Take a look at what you have done recently that might have helped another. Notice actions that you have taken that included the consideration of your friends and family. Often, we do things that are for others that they are not completely aware of until much later. We do things that are for their future safety and our actions include them in the consideration of what we take as steps going forward. Feel into that kind heart and bring inclusiveness into your choices and decisions. When terrible things happen in the world, what matters are your friends and family. Why not consider them now? Why not begin to move from a place that allows for compassionate and loving inclusion?
At 1:30 AM EDT today, the New Moon occurs as the Moon aligns with the Sun in the sign of Virgo. This New Moon is an excellent time for new beginnings and presents an excellent opportunity for us to formulate some goals regarding “all things Virgo.” Concentrate on new ways to get your life more organized. You are being asked to look at things from an analytical, intelligent, reserved, critical, helpful, and conscientious way. Life is about learning to incorporate new traits and methods into your being. The New Moon in Virgo is a good time to commit to personal goals that express healthy, constructive, and organized discrimination. It is time to address your health regime and set up specific routines that will help manage your life in mindful ways. It is about freeing your mind of the clutter and negative chatter. This New Moon occurs as Jupiter and Uranus move towards an opposition, creating an atmosphere that is a little too risky, disorganized, or chaotic for Virgo’s tastes. The quincunx from Uranus to the New Moon emphasizes this awkward relationship. However, you would do best by allowing for some surprises to keep it interesting. Fortunately, Virgo is an adaptable sign but it also strives for perfection. That combination can be an incredible challenge. Just remember to be aware if you are becoming too focused on the flaws (of yourself and others). The Moon continues its transit of Virgo only until 6:06 AM EDT when it enters relationship-focused, gracious Libra.

What is the motivation in your life right now? There are so many negative motivations but can you turn that into something that is positive and benefits others from a place of caring and compassion? I personally attempt to feel into the greater needs of those in my life and I do preparation that includes others needs so that I take choices beyond just what I want or need and into the place that considers others also. When I do that I do not tell them that I am doing that. I do not need them to know my actions because it is just what loving people do. A hundred years ago, that way life required preparation for the coming months and years. Such as with food and the preparation that everyone did for the upcoming winter. Without canning, food drying, and root cellars most of humanity would not have survived very long. I have a friend who was raised in Nevada on a ranch and they had an Ice House for the ice they made from the river in the winter that was cut and stored on straw, then layered on top of each other so that they had ice for their refrigerators in the summer. Notice that was not that long ago. This friend is now 70 years old. Modern grocery stores and kitchen gadgets have simplified so many things but they have also let go of the specialness of tasting homemade preserves in the darkest times of winter. Families used to carefully plan to have enough though the winter and into the spring before the crops were ready again. Today, take a look ahead and see where you need more preparation for the future. It might be in looking towards your childrens education costs that you need to begin planning for now. It might be your retirement. It might be in taking care of things in your life now that are draining your energy. Whatever it is, deal with it honestly and objectively. Think it through and make choices that include those you love the most.
