Numerology/Astrology for 7/18/15
Today is the number 6. Stay still, remain calm and wait on the will of heaven. This is what the number 6 is attempting to tell you today. When many things move in flux simultaneously then it is advisable to wait to see where the direction eventually leads rather than thinking you have the clarity and you know what is about to unfold. This is a time of contemplation and looking inward to your deeper self rather than outward to a desired result. Venus begins its transit of Virgo today, but turns retrograde on the 25th and never makes it beyond the first degree of Virgo, returning to Leo on the 31st. Venus in Virgo desires appreciation perhaps as much as Venus in Leo, but it’s more for what you do for others than for projecting your own personality. In fact, Virgo can be self-conscious when the focus is on themself and feels much more confident when they can do their work or service. You show your affection through taking care of the “little things” and the details, not through dramatic gestures. Venus will be retrograde from July 25th to September 6th. Mercury squares Uranus today. This makes your senses stimulated, and you could have sudden flashes of insight or fresh new ideas. However, your ideas are not always received well by others and you can feel be a bit scattered. It’s a challenge to deal with routine matters or monotonous tasks under this influence. Tasks may be left undone or interrupted. This is not a good time to be understood, so you may want to hold off presenting your ideas for the time being. New information can surface now that upsets the status quo, but can also act to stimulate your mind into new ways of thinking. The Moon continues its transit of Leo until 8:48 PM EDT. when it enters Virgo.

Quote
Mean people are really just sad people. They hurt others because they are hurting. Every person is born beautiful, and much of the ugliness in others was put inside of them by other hurting people.

When you look beyond the behavior of angry people you see people that have been through a lot and have not yet navigated tools that allow them to remain calm and allow healing that brings the back to wholeness. That is why you always look out through the eyes of compassion at others. You do not know what their life has been like for them. You do not know the trials and tribulations they have weathered and are in the process of working through. I find when you respond from the place of seeing their underlying wound rather than the defensive posture they are presenting you automatically disarm their projection and give them a safe place to come back into their authentic self.
