6/26/18 is the number 7. The number 7 symbolizes humanity’s deep inner-need to find depth and the true meaning of why you are here. It tries to help you recognize that spiritual connection can be broken by denying the truth. When the needs of food, self-expression, material and domestic achievements have been met, the number 7 asks you to look at the deeper levels of life, to question what you think you know and instead to unlearn what you have learned, to educate yourself in a more rational and objective way. That is the way you find your purpose. The number 7 energy makes you really question if you really know why you are here. By exploring and investigating beyond the surface simplicity of what you have been told, you will discover that your ego has made the decision of who you are and that is probably no longer valid or true. Only by letting that go and being willing to step out of the comfort of your justifications will you discover who you are under the ego’s blanket of self-deception. You must continue studying and question all of the choices and decisions that have defined your life and your existence. The answers to life are not easy or comfortable. They will not fit (ever) in the box of your beliefs. And they have the power to break down the walls your ego has built to help you discover that you are less right than you think and less powerful than your mind needs to feel okay. That does not mean that you do not contain a wellspring of true power that is beyond anything that the mind could comprehend or make up. It is your ego that holds you back by telling you lies that you can never completely fulfill and that collapse you back down again and again, giving you a sense of self-doubt and a lack of self-worth. It is time to step beyond the belief that you know and go beyond the mind into the cosmic understanding of the rules of life and the cosmos. You can never ever get there if you believe in causing anyone or anything harm. There is no justification for creating, maintaining, or magnifying the suffering of this world. Every time you justify a belief that allows for suffering to continue, you place a mark of karma on your own heart.

On June 26, Mars turns retrograde in Aquarius until August 27 when it backs into Capricorn. Mars and Venus turn retrograde less often than all the other planets, so it is important to pay attention when they do. (Venus turns retrograde October 6). Retrogrades make you revise, rest, renovate and redo. Aquarius has to do with your highest ideals, freedom, and creating win-win environments for the good of the group consciousness. Aquarius will not tolerate the choices of others that allow for, justify, and condone suffering of any form of life on this planet. When it backs into Capricorn later this summer, you must find a way to make those high ideals practical in the mundane world. It may be a day where there can be some difficulties knowing what you want as the shift occurs. Perhaps you have been following the words and advice of a man in your life (Mars). Perhaps it is dawning on you that this person’s approach is not completely valid or true. This is a time when you need to re-assess your current projects, your approach to getting what you want, and your desires. This is not the time to directly assert your desires because the chances that you are still in the high tide delusion of the Neptune in Pisces is probable. You may not be seeing clearly. This is a time to be more introspective and cautious. Mars in direct motion is straightforward, assertive, and even aggressive, but with Mars in retrograde motion, Mars energy is essentially turned inward – it’s internalized, intensified, personalized, and perhaps pressurized. Expect to be hesitant about taking action. You might question your instincts or your past beliefs and recognize that you should not act upon them because something feels no longer correct. But remember that no man is an island. You’ll need to increase your team spirit, inside. Mars is the masculine principle of life and as such it is the energy of gumption and drive. When Mars goes retrograde it makes you feel a bit flat and dulled. You feel like you don’t have as much energy to put into things. You will have even less energy if you are living a lie. It takes huge amounts of energy to reinforce a lie in the face of truth. This is a good time to start a meditation ritual or a spiritual path that aligns you with truth rather than be manipulated by the words of others or the words you those you love. Where are you listening to them over your gut instinct? When you speak the words of others that are not grounded in your own intuitive knowing. Then others will see you as false and not being in the real world. They will pull away and distance themselves from you because you cannot be trusted. It is time for you to listen to your own counsel and recognize that you cannot spiritually progress when you follows others’ beliefs over your own gut instinct.

While the Moon is in spontaneous Sagittarius all day, you are also approaching a Sun-Saturn opposition, so it is a good idea to take things slowly today.

Blog

It is amazing to me how people chose to give their power away. They give it away because of fear and habit. They have often put someone up on a pedestal and have chosen that person’s words because they seem perhaps older and seemingly wiser. More often than not, it is because we love them. In the male/female dynamic you see this a lot. That you have a woman that has been perhaps trained by her culture and circumstances such as religion to trust and listen to the structure and beliefs of another. Most often it is a woman’s husband or a person that is a mentor to them or even both. When you have a young energy and enthusiastic expression you often want to defer to those that seem more experienced in such matters. But life is not that simple. Each person is on their own separate path for evolution and enlightenment. Their choices and mistakes do not need to be yours unless you choose to take on that person’s karma by believing them over your own knowing and spiritual guidance. It is important to understand that when you believe a person’s words and act out in your life from those beliefs you actually are taking on the karma of that person. So be very, very careful who you believe. I personally find that I carry plenty of karma on my own and I do not need to take on anyone else’s karmic journey. Therefore I often walk a simple path. The path of “do no harm”. It is a much simpler task to look at if your words and actions are actively causing suffering to others or not. Now, truth sometimes hurts but its intention is not to cause harm but to cause awakening. Everyone deserves love and support. Everyone deserves to seek a better life. Everyone deserves tools to help them acclimate to a new environment and world. Everyone deserves to feel safe. Everyone deserves to better themselves through education and growth. If you deny anyone that you are operating against the most sacred rules of this planet. And there will always be a karmic consequence.
