Numerology/Astrology for 6/2/16
6/2/16 is the number 8. The number 8 reminds you to have compassion for others who have not had love and do not know how to love themselves first. We want others to love us but in our sometimes desperate attempt to find connection we do not see that what we are projecting is our need…. not love. Love does not grasp at. Love does not complain when you do not get your way or what you want. So many people believe that if someone loves you that they will give you what you need to be fulfilled. But that is not the case. Someone who loves you will not respond to your childish behaviors and grasping attempts to fill your own emptiness. They will simply reflect to you that light and compassion without needing anything back from you in return. Only if you completely love yourself can you detect the deeper levels of love that are being reflected all around you. When you label love as one particular thing, phrase, response, etc, you limit the vastness and limitlessness that is real love. Today, stop and look at your behavior and notice if you are coming from needing someone else to validate your reality or if you are coming from the deep core and center of your being that knows that you are love, all things are love, and that there is no need to grasp at anyone or anything to know that love is the source of all grace on this planet. The Moon is in Taurus all day, encouraging a stronger connection to the world of the five senses. Even so, you are moving towards a Venus-Neptune square and the annual Sun-Saturn opposition, which act to challenge your perceptions and require an adjustment of expectations. You may be swinging from seeing the worst to seeing the best, when the truth lies somewhere between. Your confidence may be undermined by feelings of doubt, pessimism, or guilt. Feeling blocked, encountering obstacles to progress, and inhibitions are all possible. Realism seems forced upon you, but your efforts to measure up to expectations can ultimately increase your confidence in your ability to be responsible for yourself. Focusing too much on what you are feeling is not productive now. This is a time for reevaluating goals, taking into better account the limits of time and energy. It can be a good time for developing real solutions to long-term problems. At this time, you may recognize the need to adopt a humbler, more mature, and possibly more conservative approach.
Knowing how to be solitary is central to the art of loving. When we can be alone, we can be with others without using them as a means of escape.
Like a Bamboo
At this time and at this age I cannot tolerate humanity’s noisy emotional stage.
They play at love as if it is a game to get what they want so they do not feel their pain.
They are often so afraid to feel, what is underneath their crazy mental wheel.
Love does not put bandaids on gapping wounds. Love listens and then attunes.
Sharing of love is not about getting what you want. Love does not bully, blame, or taunt.
Love observes and sees what is so. Love waits until an opening shows.
You cannot give someone what they do not know. You cannot receive where you are unwilling to grow.
Half of my life has come and gone and I am grateful that what I needed… I have internally drawn.
You cannot teach someone what you intrinsically know. You have to let your light and reflection show.
In the stillness is the truth. In the darkness that love seed needs to take root.
You cannot rush the growth of your heart. You can only handle so much at the start.
Like a bamboo that waits for five years before it springs forth in a fast burst of life’s cheers.
You too have to learn that growth starts below, inside your darkness it must root in a dance that is slow.
Patience is the key to know when it is time. Love cannot be rushed, it is way more sublime.
So if your life is not growing fast, then enough inner time has not yet passed.
Let go and trust the flow. You will not be there until you clearly know.
