Numerology/Astrology for 5/19/19
5/19/19 is the number 9. Regardless of what you think needs to get done, today is a day where the astrology is not pushing or pulling in the way it has been doing for months. Therefore, what would it take for you to just stop, rest, take a break, read a book, and feel complete in this moment? There is always something more to be done. There is always one more project. But why not take a calculated pause and just enjoy your life. I know that personally that can be hard for me because I had two perfectionistic parents that were very driven in their own ways. Learning the lesson to allow pauses was difficult for me and still is a personal challenge. But today on all levels it is a day where you can just stop and enjoy. Reading a book sometimes feels like a luxury. An indulgence that is rarely given the time and attention. But it is time and you need a moment to rest and rejuvenate. You will appreciate it later. When you do not allow pauses in your life it will cause you to harden. Being tough is okay but being inflexible isn’t. Notice your inflexibility and choose to let today soften your approach to life. In the high winds of life at this time remember that the flexible tree bends in the storm while the rigid one will break.
The Moon moves through Sagittarius on Sunday, which is perfect for philosophical conversations or a trip into the great outdoors. It harmonizes with Chiron bringing a happiness and curiosity to your world. Take a risk and go have an adventure. It won’t be hard to get motivated. Everyone is ready to go in another direction. Your personal philosophy has shifted. And that is a good thing. Everyone needs a change of scenery. Consider all new possibilities. Not all will pan out but some might carry you off to a new direction and adventure.
All and all it is a very quiet day without any major astrological aspects.
“You can discover more about a person in a hour of play than in a year of conversation.”
When was the last time you giggled until you snorted? Laughed so hard with others that your sides and stomach hurt? If you are like most of us, it has been a while. It is sometimes difficult to get past the shoulds, have-tos, and stresses of life to remember the joy, humor, and fun that is also a part of a balanced life. Sometimes the best thing you can do is take a break. I notice when someone makes me laugh. I mean really laugh. One of the recent ones was making Brioche with my friend Mary Ann in her kitchen in Utah. The rising was taking much longer than we anticipated and it was midnight and we were punchy. We started slamming the brioche on the board, in accordance with the recipe from Julie Childs, while speaking in her unique voice, calling for “More Butter!” We were hysterical. Snorting and laughing. It remains one of my favorite moments.
