Numerology/Astrology for 5/25/19

5/25/19 is the number 6. The number 6 is a spiritual seeking number. It is what is good in all of us….our conscience. It is our empathy, grace, ability to compromise, and the teacher inside of us that wants to protect and heal others. It is the number that connect us through intellectual discrimination and the part that knows that spiritual freedom comes from taking responsibility for our choices. This number is all about knowing that a perfected sense of balance is only achieved through inner clarity not through external circumstances. No other person or situation can make you feel safe. When you are insecure within, then nothing anyone ever will do will be enough. It is unfair to put that kind of pressure on others. That insecurity can only see from what it needs and what it wants. From observing the world that way, often the person forgets to say, “Thank you!” to others and appreciate the efforts that they put in on your behalf. Selfishness comes from not being able to see past your own wants and needs. The higher motivations of “Right” and “Wrong” are what the number 6 is about. When you have a place inside for principles then the intuitive side of the number 6 emerges and you know who and when to give your time and energy too. This number shows that stability comes from being able to be comfortable in your own skin regardless of what external situations are happening in your life.

Astrology Today

It is another inventive day with the Moon in Aquarius. Discover something new and different.

The Moon is sextile Jupiter in Sagittarius. It brings an increase in enthusiasm and idealism. Being happy becomes a priority and connecting to friends, family, and community essential. The added connections support focus and clarity. You want to be your best self.

Pluto and Ceres semi-square and that can strain the system and bring aggravation. For some the possessive side of their nature might emerge. Attachment to old patterns that are incomplete become more obvious today. Know that continuing this type of behavior will push others away from you. If that is what you want and intend then keep doing what you are doing. But some things from the past make you realize the level of rejection or betrayal you are feeling.

A Mercury-Pallas trine will help make sense of it all. Express yourself clearly with others. Organize your thoughts and ideas into patterns that are sustainable. You can enjoy making those plans for your future.

In psychology, they say we all have 3 wounds, shame, abandonment, and betrayal. We identify with one of those more than another but we all have all three. These are like chips that we carry on our shoulders that others can sometimes see and often feel. When we are unaware of these triggers, we walk around in this life expecting to have those energy continue to attack us at various times. It creates a type of defensive posture that we live with on a daily basis and spend energy reinforcing. Avoidance of pain just creates more suffering. I personally prefer, Pema Chodrun’s method of sitting in the “Shempa”, which means sitting in the truth of the misery. Being with it. Feeling it all the way through. Until you discover what lies underneath it. Often feelings will not reveal their hidden wisdom until you sit with them long enough. Many, many years ago, I was in a place of sitting with betrayal. It was a long, hard journey to sit with such a heated and uncomfortable energy. What I discovered for myself was that underneath the betrayal was resentment. Buckets of it. I was shocked because I had done so much work with anger. But I discovered that anger and resentment are very different. It was a tremendous revelation. So then I had to sit with the resentment and feel all the way through that. And there was so much old, old stuff. Stuff from my childhood, family, situations with ballet, etc. The list went on and on. I share this because if I have buckets full of unresolved emotions, I know that all of us do, in various forms and types. I believe that is why accidents, situations, and circumstances appear in our life to trigger us to feel things that we have been avoiding. It is a good thing ultimately. When you learn to embrace what is true without covering it over with a story, you will become much more comfortable in your own skin.
