Numerology/Astrology for 5/12/19

5/12/19 is the number 11. Expand the mind and know that as you do that, the ego is going to put up a fight. The ego attempts to keep you safe but sometimes it does not allow you to grow either. Growth is always about risk. Risk does not guarantee safety. In fact you can almost guarantee that risk is going to make you feel unsafe. But that does not mean that risk is bad or that attempts to grow will fail. It just indicates that you allow that growth to be a part of the bigger divine plan rather than your ego mind. The ego will always construct a pattern with fear to stop you. The divine sees things as a wonder, an expansion, and a change of perception. But that change is a threat to the establishment. And usually exactly what you need to do. Today, restrain that negative projection that is based in fear of the unknown and instead embrace that unknown. After all, a life without adventure is a boring life.

The Moon trines Venus and promises development in aspects that help you modify and adapt your emotions. The desire is to avoid disputes and to connect in a joyful way.

The Moon sextile Mars gives you a stronger will today and the courage to be more adventurous, open-minded, and clear in your thinking.

The Moon trines Uranus giving you a persuasive quality and an ambitious nature. New ways are being tested. New paths are opening up. This gives you the ability to have a prosperous development in your career.

It is Mother’s Day. A day where the sacrifices of all our mothers is honored and acknowledged. It is such a beautiful day to give love to the women that brought us to this amazing life. I have watched my mother grow and continue to evolve through her issues even now at 83 years old. I find that a remarkable accomplishment. It started when I was about 4 years old. Her parents were terrible alcoholics and were manipulative and abusive. So that when she had her own children the triggers started to rise up. Her response was remarkable for it being around 1965. She put herself into therapy with a Jungian Psychiatrist for 19 years. Back in those days if you did that you were considered “crazy”. My father was embarrassed that his wife was in therapy and refused to speak about it. My response was one of admiration. She knew she had issues and she took responsibility to fix them. Knowing that she did not have approval from my father but it was something that she was going to do, none-the-less. And I saw changes. They were slow at first but integrating new neurological pathways is really difficult for everyone. And she learned how to stand up for herself. That was quite an accomplishment for her because her mother was clearly mentally ill. (At least that was my perception as a child even into adulthood.) It is not what has happened to us that defines us. It is what we do in the face of those challenges that determines our life’s purpose and course. Regardless of how horrible her parents treated her, no matter how many times they disowned her, she stayed loving and attempting to understand what the pattern was. Now, there are moments that I (as a Leo) would have given them a piece of my mind) but it was not my path, it was hers. And she was never bitter about her childhood. And many under the same circumstances would have chosen resentment over the projection of such harshness. As a Taurus, she stayed the course and so that even now, those neurological pathways that she learned in therapy are still working for her now at 83. She can still critically look at her choices and behaviors and recognize her own dysfunction with objective clarity. Those awareness’s continue to sneak in and she uses me as a sounding board and a check point for her newfound perception. It is probably why I just look at people and notice if they are willing to grow. Willingness gives opportunity for growth. Even if someone grows slowly (as my mother) I am willing to support them. It is when someone backslides drastically and is continually stuck that I step away and allow them to find the answers in their own time.
