Numerology/Astrology for 4/5/15

Today we are in the number 8. It is a good idea to take a small personal day and retreat into a place that allows expansion, clarity, and a new way to relate to the world. Emotions are running high and things are trying to be connected between right and wrong, good and bad. Standing in the center of the figure 8 is the place of balance. From this position you will be able to see and relate to the external dimensions while moving from a place of balance, courage, and desire for peace. The Moon continues its transit of Libra until 3:05 PM EDT, when it enters Scorpio. The Sun squares Pluto late morning, and will align with Uranus tomorrow. You might want to look for hidden agendas, but try not to make yourself crazy or be too insistent. You can be competitive and may be driven by fear under these aspects so think before you speak or leap. Jealousy is close to the surface. Avoid beating a dead horse and attempting to force matters that should naturally take time to unfold. Circumstances now can push you to discover your own power–power that comes from a strong sense of self rather than superficial energy derived from manipulating people into doing what you want them to do. Events may occur now that highlight the need to trust. Mars semi-squares Chiron tonight so you can be rather touchy, you may find it difficult to express your desires directly.

I remember when I was much younger how I had teacher after teacher tell me that I was doing a particular pattern. But you cannot see what you are in denial of. The mind is very good at creating illusions to protect the ego from seeing the truth. Fortunately I had a woman teacher tell me the same thing many years later from an angle that I could finally see and integrate. In that moment I realized what the other teachers had been talking about and saw how obvious it must have been to so many that knew and loved me. In that moment everything shifted. Recognizing a pattern is 70% of fixing it. Today, really listen to the feedback coming your way. If it is something that you have heard before, regardless of how that pattern was delivered, dissect it and reveal the kernel of truth that will allow you to awaken and shift.
