1/9/17 is the number 2. The number 2 keeps you on your toes and addressing the past and future duality that you are holding inside. You have opportunities to move forward in your life but the past fears keep interrupting a breakthrough that is available should you want it. The problem is that the solutions usually do not look like something you want to do. Once that is clear your ego gets involved and can do a great job distracting you from forward progression thus leading you back into the memory and traumas of the past. I had teachers beat it into me that the solutions to all my questions were presenting right in front of me. But when you are not ready to let go of the identities that have defined and limited you then you will not see those moments as the doorways that they are toward your awakening. Then things will just keep repeating the same patterns over and over again until you are finally willing to not be afraid but let the universe show you something that is very valuable for your progression.

The Moon is in inquisitive Gemini all day. There can be more movement in your life or a sense that there is too much mental activity going on. Your emotions are in a state of change and flux. So then everything feels as if you are in a boat cresting waves in a storm buffeted by the tides and winds of the mind. There is a strong need to communicate and to express ideas. But the effectiveness of those ideas seems still limited. What would help right now is to connect with siblings, relatives, neighbors or get involved in some sort of community involvement. These types of things can move you towards a better state of emotional well being under a Gemini Moon. You might feel some restlessness and a trend of feeling fickle, wanting one thing in one moment but then changing your mind in the next. The Moon forms squares with Venus, Neptune, and Mars, and you can find yourself nervous and analyzing things to death. You may end up wasting your time and getting distracted off your course, more often than not today. With Venus in minor challenging aspect to Jupiter, watch for tendencies of impulsiveness, haste, and haughtiness, particularly when it comes to relationships and in the pursuit of your own pleasure.

I see in my clients so many feeling uneasy, uncertain, and not knowing what to do next. Here we are in a place where you want to feel secure but things presenting in your life are so much more conflicted than you want. It is not just about politics or jobs. It is about where you want to go next in your life. It is about what are the next steps that will make you feel aligned again and moving towards a goal that seems congruent and right. There are many making big decisions right now that will affect the future course and priorities of this life. The magnitude of those choices are felt deeply in the soul and because you recognize the importance of those choices there is a hesitation. The hesitation is not because the direction is bad but because it is a huge turn. Life is about change and this is a big one for most of us. Remember, you are not alone and we can all do this when we come together and support each other in the pathway that is right for them and not in what we necessarily want.
