December 29th is the number 4. Let’s set the tone today by making a mindset of determination for 2016 to be one of constructive passion and dependable drive. We are in the card of the Emperor in Tarot and as such it is about claiming your territory and holding true to what is important in your life. At the end of all things you look at what you actually completed in life that made your life better, more congruent, or helped to establish your integrity and core. Take the time to look at your life and decide what you have done that will live beyond your own life. At the end of this life what have you done? Did you help others become better or happier? Did you leave this world in a slightly better way that how it was when you were alive? As we finish off 2015 make a commitment to do something that changes someone or something in a way that makes it better. The Moon continues to transit Leo until 2:00 PM EST. This morning’s Sun-Neptune sextile can help you tune into your imaginations and intuition. Instinctual judgment is enhanced under this influence. You are able to see matters, and people, from a different perspective–one that allows for, and even finds beauty in, differences. However, with Mercury square Mars also exact later morning, there is an inclination to quick speech, movement, and decision-making. You can be irritable and say all the wrong things. You may be competing for the floor when it comes to expressing your ideas, thoughts, and opinions, making it difficult to engage in healthy dialogue. Mental agitation could dominate. You may stir up controversy with what you say, or how you say it. The Moon enters Virgo at 2:00 PM, and you’re inclined to want to keep busy, finding things to do that make you feel useful. Later today, a semi-square between Venus and Pluto approaches, exact very early into the day tomorrow. This influence can point to some underlying tensions in social interactions (looking for an ulterior motive or an agenda, suspiciousness) and relationships (possible jealousies). Avoid power plays and manipulation with friends and lovers.

It is a great gift to be able to reflect on your life. It is a greater gift to be able to reflect on that life not from the standpoint of the story you told yourself about an event but to be able to look honestly at that event from a detached mindset. Then you can see your own reactions and responses to events and see the lessons that your angels and guides were trying to give to you. In my life, from this time of age and hopefully some wisdom I can see how those angels and guides were trying so desperately for me to see something beyond my ego’s projection and distortion or right and wrong. How patient my angels and guides have been over the years! In this moment I send them the gratitude that they have deserved throughout my life. Repeatedly they have tried to open my eyes and so often I fell back into the pattern of behavior that was not authentically me. Struggling to find that balance in my life between pleasing others and giving them what they need to open and yet staying authentic with my core and truth at the same time has always been a bit of a challenge. It is so easy for me to feel into others needs (as it is for most people) and yet be aware of my own. Today, become hyper vigilant is what it is you need as you move forward into 2016. Take great care of yourself and honor the bright spirit that you are. Let that out and let that shine forth as we come into 2016.
