Numerology/Astrology for 12/25/15
December 25th is the number 9. Christmas and the number 9, how perfect! On top of that we also got snow on Christmas Eve! Completing the cycles of life and love. Learning to listen to that deep inner voice in the silence of winter. We have arrived at the moment when Uranus is going to finally leap forward and allow this energy to productively move in a direction that allows for more opportunity and growth. I am excited to see what 2016 will bring also. Life and its mysteries will always be a task that the mystics and teachers will try to find tools and maps to explain and help humanity understand. The more I learn the more I understand there is to learn but that is the joy of it all anyway. If you could easily figure it all out what would be the challenge for growth and evolution? Let yourself leap into the possibilities of 2016 and say a fond farewell to 2015. Celebrate your accomplishments and honor the wisdom and patience gained through 2015. The Moon finishes its transit of Gemini at 12:28 AM EST, when it enters Cancer. A Full Moon occurs in Cancer at 6:13 AM when the Cancer Moon exactly opposes the Capricorn Sun. This Full Moon is about balancing your commitment to your career and families. Something has been building inside and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that you let it out. Over the next two weeks, you will discover what this means. For now, you can’t sit on your feelings – it is time to express them. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time–a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships. While a semi-square between Mercury a Neptune can point to some misunderstandings or fuzzy thinking, a trine between Mercury and Jupiter later today points to clearer, positive thinking, new insights, and general cooperation. Your ideas are big and your intentions are very noble. You might receive good news today to shift the way you have been holding something.

Quote
Merry Christmas to all. May the New Year bring positive shifts in all the ways that bring you more love and connection to yourself, the planet, your family and all those you touch. I am so grateful for all of those people who have loved and touched me in my life. I look back with gratitude and joy for the deep connections, powerful conversations, heart felt sharing’s, and the simplicity of being with some of you in silence and wonder. There are moments when you know that life will never be the same and in truth that would always be true but in this moment there is a deeper awareness and understanding of the transparency of life and the fleeting moments that are so precious and dear. Perhaps it is the age that I am and that this year I have witnessed so many leaving to go to the other side. Perhaps it has opened a doorway more to that other side and I recognize the impermanence of this moment and I want to anchor it into memory for the future. Regardless, I appreciate all of you in my life and I am sitting in wonder and the many gifts I have received from all of you. Thank you for the many memories. They will live in my heart in the most cherished of places. They give me the light and the courage to go through any darkness that confronts me.

What is Christmas? It is not the literal time of a child’s’ miraculous birth. Every continent recorded the super nova that went off in the sky that heralded this great spiritual teacher’s birth and that was in March when the lambs were being born in the Middle East. As a researcher of religion it becomes clear that the Catholic Church wanted to take over the pagan holiday of Winter Solstice and so they chose December 25th to mark the birth of Jesus to celebrate the “Return of the Light”. And so we have this beautiful holiday that becomes a celebration of many religions and a time when we come together and share the year’s joys and abundance. And we celebrate the return of the light out of the darkest time of the year and we remember that a great soul came to show us the way through the density and to bring us the hope for all of humanity. Rituals have power and value as we connect to something beyond our small self and into the bigger whole that is the mystery of life. Take these rituals to heart. Bring them into you family and create traditions that have meaning, joy, and love. Then take it one step further and remember to be that loving self all year round. What a wonderful world it would be if we learned to live Christmas in our heart and let that become our normal world. Let us dream of that moment and manifest the potential of humanity by creating a world where all life is respected. All religions are honored. And love becomes the conscious constant forever.
