Numerology/Astrology for 12/23/18

12/23/18 is the number 10. Most of you know that going home is often that very necessary cosmic reset that allows us to feel the familiar of home and remind us of who we are. Our family defines us, grounds us, and allows us to remember from where we have come. It is the set point for the patterns that we came to learn and express. There is power that comes when you understand the patterns of your family and embrace the lessons that you asked to learn. The 10 tells us that there is power in just being fully in a moment. There is power in family. And there is power in togetherness. We are always more powerful when we are unified, we know who we are, and finally learn to accept the lessons that life gives us with love and gratitude.

Astrology Today

The Moon is in Cancer giving us permission to nourish ourselves with family, food, and fun. Hopefully everyone makes it home for their holiday celebration. Sending safe passage blessings to everyone traveling to family. Let that domestic side of you take over and give everyone space to talk and share their stories for the year.

The Moon opposes Saturn and Pluto and while this can be a frustrating aspect, learn to take a breath and expect something to go a bit wrong. And then do your best to not take things personally. You are being pulled out of your patterns of comfort and familiarity. Circumstances demand that you perform above and beyond what you expected to have to give. Relaxation and lounging do not seem to be in the cards for today.

Know that you are being tested to turn tensions into energy that can give you momentum to makes something better. The Moon is harmonizing with Neptune and Venus and Pluto and Juno are trining giving this moment an excellent time to share in wonderful ways with those you love.

Quote

We chose this place and time
to learn from those that love divine.
Those that brought you here to be
part of the growth to find your eternity.
Those that give us the greatest growth
Gave you a promise, a sacred oath.
Some chose to guide you to grace.
Some chose to help you retrace.
Places that long for healing still
Places that call for you to learn to distill.
Distill the wisdom from pain and hurt,
And learn to find your power to assert.
You are seeking to know who you are.
From the struggles and the bizarre.
There is great joy in moments in time.
When you step beyond the past and into the sublime.
Find your heart in what is your home.
Only then will you know that you are never alone.
Bless those that came before.
Bless your heart that longs to explore.
Know that your past is only a tool.
A cosmic, karmic, magical school.
But a future awaits beyond your past.
In your future you will find what lasts.
That is the love your soul learns to contain.
It is that love that will displace the pain.

Blog

I wish everyone a very Wonderful Holiday Season. The next few days will be hopefully filled with tastes, laughter, and sensations of family. Take a moment to be in gratitude for the many gifts, lessons, and insights that have come your way over the past year. Reflect on the challenges that you have overcome and the many small and great wins that you have accomplished. Each of us is on our own peculiar and unique journey to discover what has yet been undiscovered.

Some things I discovered this year:

  1. How to cook and laugh with my girlfriends as we explored the world of Julia Childs and the Magic of French Cooking.

  2. How to slow down even more so that I learned how to not take little things and make them bigger than necessary.

  3. How to appreciate those in my life that have been there over the vast and many years and see the huge gift that they have been in my life. How they have forever changed me and made me a much better person.

  4. How to take care of my health and to learn that less needs to be done than my mind makes up.

  5. How to accept the mistakes of others with greater grace and know that everyone is doing exactly what they need to do to grow. Their choices are not ever about me.

  6. How to look at my mother with greater appreciation for the enormous journey her life has been and to see that she has made great leaps in her consciousness for the better. It is wonderful to see that even at 82 you can still grow and learn to be happy with yourself and to let go of feeling guilty for circumstances in the past that you navigated as best you could, but that perhaps (from this particular understanding now) could have been done differently.

  7. I learned how to let my guard down more with my sister. She has personally shifted in huge ways that I did not expect to have in this lifetime and now there is a new coming together and a new relationship that is possible that is based on gratitude, appreciation, honor, respect, and love. It shows the power of love when it moves from a place of total acceptance for who someone is and not project onto them what you want them to be, but they are not.

  8. I am deeply grateful for the wisdom my father imparted to me in his life. These last few years, his words of warning about the coming times have proved to be completely accurate and true. I always knew that my psychic ability came with a good dose of his common sense but this year (beyond anything I could have imagined) proved his connection to truth, his ability to see clearly the future of our country 30 plus years in advance, his compassionate heart that spoke the truth without fear, apology, or the intent to manipulate. He was a remarkable man and that is clearly seen in ways that take my breath away. He was ahead of his time. He was a seer. He knew how to keep secrets and to do always what was honorable. Thank you for being my father.

  9. I am grateful this year for the beautiful babies that has shown up over the past two years from my sisters’ children. It is a joy to see these wonderful beings grow up and become mature, functioning adults. I am proud to see their growth and excitement at the amazing journey of creation that this life offers.
