Numerology/Astrology for 12/22/19

12/22/19 is the number 10. As we astrologically begin to celebrate the return of the light after Winter Solstice, what is it that you want to change in the coming year? What would you like to do differently for your celebrations of these holidays with your family? How about starting some new traditions. Perhaps it is time to pass down some of those heirlooms from your grandmother’s and grandfather’s to the next generation and allow them to make memories with the special things. And what kinds of traditions do you hold dear that you might want to share with others? I like to do things that are a secret that no one knows what I am doing or who it is from. I like to do something that makes a difference years from now. Things that I will not necessarily see but that others will be able to enjoy and appreciate. I no longer need to be special or immortal in the ways that make you famous or rich. I just want to leave something behind that shows that I cared. That someone cared enough and thought about it in a way that others could enjoy. Today, is a day to think about those potential new things and initiate some new ideas that support life in this world.

Astrology Today

The Moon in Scorpio conjuncts Mars in Scorpio. Tempers are running high and irritability and pompous arrogance want to dominate. It is better to not talk, walk away, breathe ten times, listen to your favorite music, and turn up the Bose headphones. Disagreement is only going to bring more trouble. It is also not good for your health.

The Moon trines Neptune. While this is great for intuition and imagination. It is also going to make the emotions seem deeper and more critical. Opinions seem to matter. You may want others to hear what you have to say. Remember, you cannot open a closed mind. People have already made their minds up in numerous ways and only experience will give them pause to reconsider.

Venus in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus. Be again, careful in what you want to say. Your small little slant may become horribly obvious. You might in passion say something exactly the wrong way. I know you want to be independent and original. But know that sometimes passion will work against you in a heated moment. It is okay if others think you are standoffish. Everyone is preparing for this very intense solar eclipse that starts for some on Christmas day around midnight and for others it is on the 26th. No matter what you will be feeling it during the Holiday celebrations. Know that eclipses reveal your blind spots around beliefs and prejudices. It is not always pleasant to see your mean-spirited side. Perhaps you should observe and not react. It is time to get in touch with what you want and what is really important. You may need to redo something from the beginning. Never a fun idea but a necessary one.

You strayed off the path

and I called out to you.

But you heard another voice

and that illusion seemed so real,

So you walked out into

the desert of your ignorance.

I stood on the path of freedom,

the path of promise, the path of effort

rewarded, the path of potential

and waited for you.

And I watched you walk away

from all of the gains

that you had accomplished.

I saw you walk away from

the obvious work that

was required of you.

I saw that moment when

you left truth behind

and believed in an illusion

over yourself.

I hoped you would be back quickly.

But as I waited through days and nights,

weeks and months….

I realized that I could not know

when you would come back

to sanity and understand where you had

strayed off the path of your eternal soul.

So I am leaving this note for you

for when you return.

I am letting you know that I

have continued down this path.

I trust your detour has been

enlightening and illuminating.

I hope the suffering has not been

too harsh during your awakening.

I have sent you prayers each day

as bread crumbs for  you to

find your way back into peace,

compassion, love, and freedom.

I hope you have found out that

no one out there has the

answers for you.

I hope that you have learned

to trust your highest self.

And I hope you have forgiven

your humanness in this journey.

I wait for you in the places

where time never ends.

I am with all those that love you

and have held out a light for you

to find your way home.

Love was always your home.

Compassion was always the path.

And freedom was the gift

that you needed to give yourself.
