10/3/18 is the number 6. The number 6 reminds you that what you believe you seek outwards must be first found inwards. Seeking to have the external give your life comfort and confidence is the wrong way to go. So many have false beliefs. Such as; if I have the money then my life will be good. And while money does give you a type of security, everyone should agree that after the downturn in 2008 that even the wealthy can take huge hits. And that life is always in flux. Nothing is guaranteed. The only guarantee you have in life is your ability to adapt to the constantly changing circumstances. Believing in things such as money, a job, retirement, someone loving you, etc. Are not designed to stay forever. In the process of evolution, adaptation is the most important skill set. If you can adapt you can thrive. If you can adapt you can survive. Nothing ever stays the same in the external world. But what remains constant is your consciousness that observes the motion of this life with objective clarity. When chaos reigns externally, it is the internal soul essence that has the potential to remain calm and make decisions from this moment forward.

Astrology Today

The Moon continues to give comfort and attempts to ease the broken-hearted today as it moves from Cancer into in the early evening. The Leo Moon over the next few days brings in more calculated risks and the desire for feedback.

The Sun is semi-sextile Venus, and you want more pleasure, affection, love, and comfort. However, there is also the realization that that desire is at odds with what you know you need to be tackling in your life. This causes a tension and a push/pull internally. There are moments you have to do what you don’t want to do. That is what becoming mature and grown up is all about.

A mars-Pluto parallel can give you more of a backbone and strengthen your focus and resolve. Yes, you need to make profound changes and remaining idle and stagnant is becoming painful. That is good because often when it is finally too painful is when you will opt to move and make the sometimes-drastic changes that are going to be necessary to find happiness.

Over the years I have watched many people that I have known in my younger years have certain quirks or behaviors that everyone notices as kinks and glitches. But in life you cannot move from the place of constantly going around and fixing others. That is exhausting. Instead, you learn to accept that person’s kink and laugh about it. Decide that is just a personality being expressed by that person. Yet, deep down inside you recognize that pattern as a dysfunction. It is amazing as to how attached people are to those behaviors. When you let anyone slide as to such a pattern, you do not do them a service. You give permission for it to continue and you give it energy to grow. And that ….. is a bigger problem. Avoidance is a form of permission. So, they then use that pattern in stronger and stronger ways until that pattern becomes a shield to protect that underlying dysfunction. And as Caroline Myss says, “The common ingredient in every single dysfunction is an issue of power.”
