Numerology/Astrology for 10/18/19

10/18/19 is the number 4. The number 4 is about the caring that it takes to support life and families on this planet. It is the 4 corners of a home, symbolizing safety and security. Everyone deserves to feel safe and in an environment that supports life for ourselves and our children. That includes animals, plants, insects, birds, and fish. For all to thrive there has to be some balance. The imbalances in our world cause un-needed suffering for all. We have the ability to stop the suffering through our awareness and intellect to create systems that support life. But we need our governments to do the obvious rather than line their pockets with more money. Clearly there is a moral crisis. One that shows us where we have taken a wrong turn. And to get back to balance it is going to be up to us to fix what we have destroyed with our neglect, unconsciousness, and greed.

Astrology Today

The Moon in Gemini asks us to open our minds to the reality unfolding. The twins of Gemini remind us that there is always light and dark. While none of us want to look at the dark, right now, not looking honestly is probably the most dangerous game you could play. Denial allows for great evil to continue to grow and disturb the growth we have had in this world. Encourage your attention to notice what is happening. Stay calm and become informed. Choices will need to be made if you have not yet done so.

You will be busy today and you may feel totally bogged down with what needs to get done. There is a lot on your plate. Take one thing at a time.

This is a moment when you can be propelled to expand beyond conflicts and move into cooperation and reconciliation. Know thought that it takes both sides to reconcile.

There is a Pluto-Chiron quintile where you may feel creative and clever. Problem solving may seem better today. Do not hold back from your personal growth. Use external stresses to promote internal change.

With the Moon square Neptune you may notice more emotional disturbances. Don’t worry if you seem lost in thoughts. Let your imagination come up with innovative ways to handle present situations.

The Moon opposition Jupiter can make more problems in the world where aggressive patterns overflow into areas that have been attempting to maintain balance. Know that conflicts are heightened and expect more worldly upsets again.

Please note that these astrological patterns are going to continue to get worse and it is up to each of us to stay aligned with our truth and hold the light of clarity on all the intentional distortions of those in power. As we continue to come into the Saturn/Pluto conjunction the tension is going to increase to new levels and challenge everyone to find a place to stand in honest clarity. Saturn is teaching very hard lessons and Pluto reminds us that “We reap what we sow!”

Quote

The goal of any conscious being
is to reduce suffering in the world.
Anyone whose goal (whether consciously
or unconsciously) perpetuates suffering
is an abomination of hate and greed.

Just as people and countries can have separate astrological charts. The actions of civilizations have their own karmic growth patterns and consequences. The choices of any group’s past, will, inevitably catch up to them, and at astrologically constructed times and places.
Ancient civilizations in Tibet set up the patterns from being a warring expansionist empire to non-violent Buddhist nation. And it repeated over and over again. Buddhism helped Asia create one of great spiritual societies.
But they also had moments of great downfall and karmic consequence, such as the Mongolian hoards ruled by Genghis Khan in the 13th Century. Only to return again to a more conscious place with the clear spiritual intention of Buddhism.

There are always those waves of change so that in 1950, the Chinese invaded Tibet and took over that countries power, culture, religion, and natural resources. And once again, we wait (just like the Dalai Lama) for the shift to return back to another more peaceful and humanitarian place that is supportive of a great ancient culture and race.
What I know is that the beliefs that a culture was founded on, cannot be so easily thrown away. Certain teachings, beliefs, and expressions do not just live culturally but they live in our very being and deep in our bones. It is the nature of all forms of life to have the innate desire and quest for freedom. It is what brought all of us to this dimension and to place this dense game of life. The quest for freedom and the ability to evolve beyond the known parameters of the present existence is what makes this such a wonderful adventure in duality.
So here we are again. This time it is our country playing out the games of light and dark, choice and no choice, love and hate, truth and fear. And while I completely accept those inevitable cycles of life. I know that the majority of Americans have also felt those places of freedom at times and the miracle that was the United States of America. If you have felt something and lived it for a lifetime, it is impossible to just be able to let it go. Especially when the forced alternative is a bastardization of hatred, evil, and suffering. To me, such a moment is not a hard choice. You know when something feels good and when it causes fear, anxiety, and moral conflict. Ignoring those warning signs will only allow yourself to be caught in the web of darkness that is being woven around your soul. Once caught, escaping it become much more difficult. As with all things, choices always have consequences down the road.
May the karmic road ahead of you be one of peace and tranquility. May all your choices always serve love and life. May this lifetime give you a doorway to enlightenment and grace.
