Numerology/Astrology for 9/17/16

9/17/16 is the number 8. Grief is the emotion of the number 8 and finding how to move when the emotions are so deep and so intense is always a problem. Pain is a motivator. Pain is movement out of no movement. But I wish as humans we did not have to move from the places of suffering and this number 8, but it works every time. When you have been stuck and unwilling to let go then the universe will force your hand and create a situation of pain and suffering in order for you to get out of the place of stuckness and to get you back into life. It hurts to let go of our old self. It hurts to let go of the things we love. But it is a necessary transmutation for growth on all levels. Today, celebrate the grief. Celebrate that you are now finally moving into a new space and place. Celebrate that life has given you a good swift kick in the pants and that you can no longer wallow in places that do not serve you. The Moon moves into Aries shortly into the day, giving you the feeling of a brand new day. You will notice that there is excitement as you are desirous of starting fresh. Mars forms a trine with Uranus early in the day, and you are more willing to take creative risks. You finally feel like you are ready to take action and make positive changes. Resistance is finally over and you are stepping into a new space and place in your life. You are feeling bolder and more assertive. You are willing to experiment and try new things. And there is a conscious acknowledgment that you need to act independently and more towards what is your life. Venus forms a quincunx with Chiron and moves towards an opposition to Uranus, bringing some instability and uncertainty. There could be feelings of discontent in past relationships or a difficult choice that needs to be made regarding personal relationships, money, or possessions. Insecurity involving others might make it awkward for you to express your deep feelings to others and there might be a feeling of holding back as you are protecting your energy rather than flowing in an organic way. But not to worry as this is only temporary. You have had so much change it is natural to feel cautious and careful as you step into the unknown space that is in front of you. Sudden attractions that may not last can occur now. Similarly, impulsive attractions to material items that later prove to be unappealing can be part of the picture. Be careful in your choices because values and tastes may clash, and group activities may suffer as a result. It is time to separate your “F**k You” rebellion pattern from a sincere need for change. It is time to open yourself up to new ways of dealing with others – falling back on old patterns of relating won’t work now and could prove disastrous.

Transmutation of experiences and emotions into wisdom is the key to life itself. There is only so much you can learn only from the mind. Wisdom has to be lived, breathed, grieved, and felt. Once that process breaks through the limitations of the mind, you discover a whole new world of possibilities is available to you. Do not accept others ideas of limitation, restriction, or fear. Learn to grow by leaning into that edge, consciously, constructively, and safely. When you are willing to stay in the moment, in the present, and come from a place of playful curiosity, life becomes more than you could have imagined.
