Numerology/Astrology for 7/9/17
7/9/17 is the number 8. The breath inside your body is what sparks that life force potential within your soul. Without air, you would not live long in this dimension. Yet, so often we hold our breath and forget to let in that essential element. It is almost as if we are afraid of our true potential if we fully breathe. Afraid of what will awaken when we have enough oxygen in our body to activate the hidden resources in each cell. Afraid to let the oxygen take away the toxins that hold us back from experiencing all that life is offering. So today, breathe. Remind yourself again and again, to just breathe through whatever is coming your way. When you are under great stress you need to be fully awake and activate your full potential. In times of crisis, being slightly asleep, unpresent, and incapable of response is never a good place to stand.
A Full Moon occurs shortly after the day begins, at 12:07 AM EDT, with the Cancer Sun’s opposition to the Moon in Capricorn. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of something that you have begun. It is an emotional time — a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships. The Cancer-Capricorn polarity concerns the balance between the private life, domesticity, the need for a home base, and nurturance (represented by Cancer) versus the public life, career, reputation, and accountability (represented by Capricorn). Neglecting either end of the axis will surely backfire. Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the Full Moon invites you to do. With the Moon, full and bright in the sky, symbolic “illumination” occurs in your own life. A Mars-Saturn quincunx this morning points to some stop and go energy. Attempts to force an issue will meet resistance so take your time. Sometimes the resistance is internal. Such as indecision or a fear can hold you back from taking a more direct approach. With a Sun-Pluto opposition coming into play, this can be a time of releasing something from your past. Perhaps it is a belief or upset that you have been holding onto too tightly or the giving away of your personal power. This can feel uncomfortable or can be disruptive, but leads to greater self-awareness. Outside forces can remind you of your need to take charge of your own life. You cannot take anyone through the doorway but yourself in this moment. But getting yourself through the door allows you to know the tools that might help others later. Know that there are no shortcuts to gaining control right now. A tricky or buried issue comes to a head. Matters of power and competition can surface for handling. You may feel on edge, volatile, and/or defensive. There can be an inner drama taking place now, or a feeling that external circumstances are undermining your own feeling of powerfulness.

In every moment you can create something precious.
It is a choice as to how you live your life.
Kindness can be expressed in many ways.
In the morning ritual of feeding the birds in your yard.
In the happy smile you give the store clerk.
In the permission you give to an exhausted mother to go in front of you in the line at the store.
In feeling beyond what you need and into the needs of another.
When you step out of your own small self you realize there is a whole world out there that can use your light and energy if you are willing to consciously share in from a place of respect and honor.
Too often we share our upset, our drama, our anger because we cannot objectively hold it inside ourself with calm and commitment to discovering the answer.
Unfortunately, we tend to spew it all over others and that ends up as a sharing of our negative energy rather than our positive.
When I feel the most down is when I have trained myself to reach out to others who are suffering.
In stepping outside of myself and my hurt, I discover that I still have untapped resources to share with others.
In that sharing I remember that the meaning of life is to not focus so much on myself but to focus on that connection to others and to all life.
