Numerology/Astrology for 3/9/18

3/9/18 is the number 5. This is the number of Mother Nature and the number of magic. It is the fire that ignites and unites. It is a number that hates restrictions on the freedom of life and asks for each person to own a piece of that responsibility. You have the opportunity for expressing freedom and individuality. But Nature will not allow you to have that freedom for long if your intention is to harm others. It is only when that freedom’s inner motivation is from a place of compassion and understanding that Nature herself will support the movement forward. It is time to let the unconventional wisdom in your soul find an external expression. It is time to let the love you feel inside find a magnetic expression to attract to yourself those whose souls purpose aligns with yours. Then together as a “tribe” of sorts you can make the positive life choices and decisions that are needed to progress your soul into awakening.
This morning, the Last Quarter Moon occurs when the Sun in Pisces forms a square with the Moon in Sagittarius. There is a continuing crisis of consciousness as those young high school students from Florida tried a “sit in” and got arrested at Mitch McConnell’s office. What kind of a world have we created when those that we elected will not listen to us or take the time to meet with even the children traumatized over such a horrible shooting event? Clearly there needs to be big changes and that is a truth that will not be denied. How that will look is going to be up to us and the voices that come from our soul and how we express the truth that is the soul of America. There can be a feeling that this world is descending into unconsciousness, hate, and greed. But in such moments, you must hold the light high and shine it strong to pierce through this energy that threatens the very stability that has been a part of our lives for so long. This is a time for mature decisions. Pettiness is a distraction from the truth of the hard work that is in front of all of us moving forward. The Moon aligns with Mars later today, however, pointing to some impulsiveness. It awakens emotional desire and stimulates a new level of urgency. The Moon’s trine to Uranus helps you find easy, creative, and even inventive channels for these energies. This is a day of agitation. But because of the fact that we are in Pisces and it is conjuncting Neptune, it can have a calming effect and a more soothing method of expression. (Now, I am reaching here because people are so on the edge with all the negativity and I am sure that some will not take that calming influence and instead rush forward with the Mars/Uranus trine in a much more argumentative and angry method. But I am hoping to promote a peaceful wave instead of an aggressive one.) I want to think of this like ice melting from the winter time into the spring. It first starts like a drip and that drip becomes a flow and that flow becomes a river. I pray for an easy transition.

I hear the cries of the people being chained.
Some chains are self-imposed by beliefs without restraint.
Some are physical, and they are being dragged away.
From all they knew and into much harder days.
Some are emotional as fear hardens its grip.
Their emotional maturity was not in a place to equip.
I pray for calm minds and balance to return.
I pray for humanity to grow from what it has learned.
I hope for the compassion of the people to survive
I hope for a world where all can thrive.
I recognize that hate is a toxic slime
That breeds on fear, anger, and the sublime.
I believe that we can overcome.
The things in our past that we cannot seem to outrun.
But often it must get worse before some will change.
And that is what causes me the most pain.
