Numerology/Astrology for 1/2/15
Today we are in the day of Transcendence or the number 11. When you are in the energy of the number 11, you want to dream big and have those dreams heard and understood. This day brings with it an element of chaos, as you will feel as if there are many things to do. You may feel easily distracted but at the same time there is inventiveness and a wanting to figure things out. So many people have been calling because this year everyone wants a bit of a heads up. 2014 was intense to say the least and many want to know and have some sort of overview before they get hit with the next round of energy. The key to today is to work through the chaos and find a way to stay emotionally grounded so you can eventually manifest that dream. The Moon is in Gemini all day, and you will feel very curious about how things are going to unfold but yet strangely connected. A Venus-Chiron semi-square towards midday, however, can aggravate insecurities in your relationships. Blocks to intimacy are possible now as you focus on differences rather than similarities in your relationships with others. Tonight, you are moving towards a Sun-Uranus square, stimulating rebellious feelings. Disrupted routines and plans are in order, and these ideally lead to the adoption of new approaches. This transit could offer you the drive to do something new, but avoid making hasty major decisions for the time being.

We are at the time where we are in the darkness of winter. Where do you find your light? What sparks energy within your being? What feeds your spirit? In this depth of cold and as this intense Arctic Freeze takes over the country it is important to notice what warms your heart and soul. For myself; friendships, connections, love, support, family, pets, etc. warm me deeply. None or us are really alone. But when you are with others do you notice that you are really connecting or are you holding back that warmth of your heart. When you feel your own love and the love that is constantly moving in and through all of life, you become the light that you are seeking. That is the joy of winter. You can discover your own inner light and spiritual fire. When you connect with all things and do not separate yourself from life, you instantly become warm and bright. I remember a book that I read a long time about “Trackers”. This Native American Indian was teaching some boys how to track animals in the wild and one night he took them deep into the woods and told them that a blizzard was coming and they needed to find their way back home through tracking. He took their clothes but not their shoes, and he left them. Sure enough a huge winter storm came roaring through and these boys were down on their hands and knees to feel the path because the blowing snow was blinding. But they had been trained for years by this shaman tracker and they found their way back. When they got back into the house they felt once again, disconnected from nature and felt how hot and oppressive being inside was so they went back outside. Our ancestors have survived bitterly cold temperatures. The human body is capable of producing heat when it is accustomed to it over time. Human bodies are an amazing tool of adaptation. Today, go for a walk in the cold. Bundle up, put on hats and gloves, but let yourself feel what it is like to be in the cold. Let your body show you that it can be okay and discover your own inner heat and fire.
