Numerology/Astrology for 10/21/15
October 21st is the number 3 and it is time to fully enjoy all the ups and downs that life has to offer. Emotions are not a problem then are just energies that need to expressed and allowed to move through. It is when we hang on to the negative and do not release that energy to the universe to be transformed that we have problems. Attachment is the result of the mind being too much in control of the flow. Your soul naturally understands flow but the mind loves to chew on things and create feelings of longing, loss, discomfort, and suffering. When things are accepted in the moment totally then there is less risk of attaching to a circumstance and having it defined is some way by the mind. Life is just life. Good and bad happen to everyone. Ups and downs are completely normal. You are not doing something wrong in the divine scheme of things if you make mistakes and fail. You are doing what you need to do to learn valuable lessons. Those lessons will be needed later and your life will be able to define and refine those lessons until they are smooth and automatic. Today life is offering up some of those moments. Let yourself be taught by life from a a place of openness and a child-like wonder and excitement. The Moon is in Aquarius all day, and you will have a driving need for freedom and independence. Intellectual stimulation, change, and unusual or unconventional experiences are what interests you today. The Moon in Aquarius makes you attracted to the unusual, extraordinary, and unconventional. Particularly this afternoon and early evening, you will feel very sociable and enjoy expressing your ideas and feelings with others. Saturn and Uranus are approaching a sesquiquadrate – an aspect that first formed in December (while Saturn was still in Scorpio), and then again in May. This is the final pass, and points to tension experienced as your needs for freedom and spontaneity seem to clash with a need for structure and stability. Rules and limitations may feel more difficult to deal with. Ideally, you can combine the two needs creatively, giving form to your ideals and quest for progress. Adjusting your plans is in order, and striking a balance between convention and innovation is the challenge. Setbacks tend to be temporary and may very well lead to new, more creative paths or solutions.

Quote
Each of us has the power and responsibility to heal ourselves, to be our own medicine man or woman. Awakening our innate powers of being, loving, knowing, seeing, and healing involves ongoing work at all levels and in all dimensions of our self. Exploring the range of rhythms and emotions, achieving insights into our conditioning and ego, moving through the energy levels of spirit—these are all activities to be integrated into our daily lives.

Bali is so beautiful. It is good to remember how simple life can be. You would think that I have that figured out as I live off the grid in a solar powered house in the redwoods but in Bali life is even simpler. We forget that life thrives regardless of what we think or do. There is not much that we need to do except observe the possibilities that are right in front of us. There is beauty everywhere. Nature is always showing us how to live, move, and thrive. So often society teaches us to overdo, over-reach, and struggle. And, yes, there are moments in everyone’s life that are a struggle but you do not need to create problems in order to feel alive and to have something to make you feel as if your life has purpose. You have a purpose right now and that is to live with as much love and caring for all those things in your awareness right now. That is enough. You are enough and there is no place better to be in this moment. Appreciate your life, your world and your experience.
