Numerology/Astrology for 10/11/17
10/11/17 is the number 4. As so much spins out of control you realize that the only control you have is upon your response to situations not in controlling the situations. Life will always send you curves and chaos. It is how you learn to adapt and bend. Only those that can adapt can survive trying times. It is a waste of effort to stress out when you cannot change a circumstance or outcome. That is the moment to practice neutrality and the number 4. I expect that many things are going to attempt to set you off today. Remember to respond and not react. Reaction is based on old wounding and pain. That story is gone and done but now you have a situation that seems somehow similar and that has the potential to corrupt your inner balance and peace. Do not let it do that.
Mars squares Saturn early on Wednesday, and that can mean mechanical problems on the highways, or those annoying things that break around the house. Allow extra time for whatever you do on Wednesday morning under this hurry up and wait energy. This is a sign that you need to slow down. Expect frustrations and feelings of being blocked and delayed from going after what you want can emerge now. It can feel as if more effort than usual is required to complete tasks. This is a time for recognizing some of your limits and adjusting your speed. Later today, a Venus-Uranus quincunx can have you questioning whether you even want more excitement in your relationships or whether you need more freedom and space. The Moon spends the day in sensitive, protective Cancer, and home or family matters are in stronger focus than usual.
“The three hardest tasks in the world are neither physical feats nor intellectual achievements, but moral acts; to return love for hate, to include the excluded, and to say, ‘I was wrong.’”
~Sydney J. Harris~
I have always found that admitting when I am wrong, is one of the most freeing things to do. I also notice that when I do it others are often shocked yet pleased that I have that capacity. Our society does not allow for showing weakness or admitting fault. But everyone makes mistakes. Everyone reacts when things are not going their way. Everyone wants to look good. But it is the human-ness that is so beautiful. That flawed simplicity that is so real, vulnerable, and fragile that makes us unique. Do not be afraid of being wrong. When you admit that you were misguided and caught in an old story of your past, you show me your heart and deepest self. I would rather related to your total self, flaws are all than have to constantly navigate and stroke your ego to have some type of relationship with you. The first is effortless. The second is exhausting.
