On Monday we are in the number 14/5. The number 5 to me is a magical feminine number. It is the pentagram and a 5 pointed star, which is the symbol for all the earthly magic that is out there. The number 5 forces you to look at the earth, your reality, and what is. Life is always trying to teach you everything that you need to survive. Life shows you that you have to surrender to the greater force outside your narrow mindset. Learning how to do that from a place of freedom, choice, acceptance of change, and adapting is what the number 5 is all about. Life calls out to us and invites us into the dance of nature. It gives us the opportunity to re-discover our imagination and lets us invent things that give us potential resources that we can utilize at a later date. Look at how the imagination of the science fiction writers have inspired inventions and made possibilities into reality. Today let yourself be a bit playful and irresponsible. Let yourself out of your confining reality for a moment and shift out of stagnation and into your unconventional curiosity. There is no need to worry because the groundedness and fortitude of Capricorn is going to make sure you do not get too out there, so enjoy the freedom of the flight of your own imagination. Families are gathering and let yourself play with the childlike innocence of your youthful self. Playing with children is always a joy and a spontaneous invite into the expansive mindset of possibility. We are in an emotional time of the year so be sensitive to others needs and feelings. As the Sun is traveling through Capricorn it will help us get in touch with our deep reflective, enterprising self. We are in a time of honoring the darkness within and calling out to the light within us to illuminate the next series of lessons that we are integrating. Life is not always pretty. There are hard facts that need to be faced. It is time to roll up your sleeves and dive into the real work at hand. Remember discipline precedes dominion. If you want to feel a sense of control over your life, if you want to step into your power, then it is usually necessary to follow a plan and take step-by-step action towards your goals. The lesson of Capricorn is that worthwhile things take effort.

Have you ever been around people or situations that are so exciting that you loose yourself in the process? Don’t worry; we have all fallen into this yummy trap. There are people and circumstances out there that are so enticing that we just want to believe in the presented illusion. We want to believe in another reality. In doing that we can sometimes learn how to co-create that reality and anchor some of that pattern into our life. That is the gift. But completely believing in an illusion at the expense of sanity is not healthy. I love the stories and the movies that carry us away to another world and those worlds can be very addictive and fun. Learning how to integrate them into the real world of your life is what is essential to find balance. Don’t get me wrong, escapism is divine! But you cannot live a healthy and balanced life if you are constantly wanting to escape this reality. Besides there are things about this reality right now that are amazing if you would just look deeper into the magic that is right in front of you. Learning how to integrate the metaphorical truths of the great stories and movies into your life is wonderful. It makes your life into a living and breathing myth. Today, see your life as an unfolding drama of depth and diversity. See yourself as the willing and unwilling hero in the complex dance of success and failure. It is all perfect. You are magical right now without having to loose yourself in someone else’s story. See your story as the journey to awakened consciousness that you chose to experience. For your soul, this was super enticing and perfect. Discover the magic in your life right now. Anchor it in. Let the truth of your souls choice be perfectly wonderful and totally fulfilling right now.
