Numerology/Astrology for 2/9/15

Today is the number 10. There is a feeling of change in the air. For some of us the unusually warm weather has flowers trying to spring forth and so there is a sense of spring right around the corner. You will feel a vibration that you recognize and the need to connect to others. This is partially to find inner peace and partially to find out how to harmonize your reality. The number 10 reminds us that we are leaders in our own world if we are willing to be original, adaptable, and determined to stand in our uniqueness and independence. If you are feeling frustrated it is time to to release any unnecessary feelings of inferiority or inner dialogue that is limiting you. It is important to not feel arrogant or self-righteous today. Such energies in a Mercury Retrograde can intensely backfire on you. Venus aligns with Chiron two minutes into the day, stimulating a new start or commitment to healing in your relationships. The Moon continues to transit Libra all day. While we’re especially aware of one another and considering each other, the Moon’s difficult aspects with Uranus and Pluto as well as a semi-square between retrograde Mercury and Venus can point to hypersensitivity and difficulties getting a clear message across.

A true friend is someone who can offer peace and happiness. If you’re a true friend to yourself, you need to be able to offer yourself true peace and true happiness.

Do you really know your true friends? Do you know those who would drop anything to support you if you needed it? I am always surprised to discover that those that I can be attached to and want the feel that connection with are sometimes not the ones that I can really count on in those very real and painful moments. I had a teacher of mine say, “Everyone is always doing exactly what they really want to do.” I also believe that it is those who have experienced family and friends who were not there that often know how painful it is when you need support and others do not show up. It is our hardships that teach us things of value. It is our struggles that give us our gifts. It is always when the chips are down that you discover who is really on your side and those who you can truly count on.
